We equip businesses with productivity resources, roadmapping, and coaching to put effective strategies into action. Working with government agencies, industry experts, academia, and international institutes, we conduct research and benchmarking to shape industry best practices and build an ecosystem where businesses can thrive.
SiPi supports Singapore’s Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) through thought leadership, internationalisation guidance, and practices that benefit the wider manufacturing community. As part of SMF, we tap into Centres of Excellence such as the SME Centres, with strong backing from Enterprise Singapore, to lift national productivity and drive long-term industry progress.
Supported by Enterprise Singapore and established in 2005, SME Centre@SMF provides constant support for Singapore SMEs as they start, sustain, and grow their businesses. This is done through a suite of complimentary services to engage the business community.
The Singapore Manufacturing Federation – Standards Development Organisation (SMF-SDO) is appointed by Enterprise Singapore and endorsed by the Singapore Standards Council to develop and promote standards and technical references for Singapore’s manufacturing sector.
SMF-SDO oversees two Standards Committees, the Manufacturing Standards Committee (MSC) and the Safety and Quality Standards Committee (SQSC), partnering with industry stakeholders to raise competitiveness, quality, and innovation. Businesses can participate in Technical Committees, provide feedback on draft standards, or purchase published Singapore Standards.
